Exec Summary

Transformation and turnaround leader with 35 years of executive and leadership experience across global technology, Professional Services and SaaS organisations. Expert in strategic transformation through a highly commercial focus: customer engagement, sound Sales governance, contractual rigor and high-performing team building. I am equally comfortable in fractional, interim or consultancy roles, with a track record of creating lasting change through a deep understanding of end-to-end strategy, processes and business functions.

I enjoy the challenge of creating order from disorder through rapid problem analysis, strategy formulation and effective and rapid change management. I have great experience with stakeholder engagement and building productive relationships with customers and C-suite executives. I have led and/or matrix-managed teams of more than 300 people with extensive experience of working internationally.

Career Narrative

After graduating in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge University with a bachelors and masters degree, I began my career in industrial Production Management before moving into management consulting with Price Waterhouse. I joined Oracle, initially working as a consultant before practice leadership and subsequently Sales. This combination of Sales and Delivery experience led to rapid promotion into a series of increasingly senior leadership roles, both at the UK and EMEA executive levels where I was Head of Innovation across Europe, Middle East and Africa.

While at Oracle, I led strategic transformation and business development programmes across EMEA, APAC and Japan, including defining and leading major changes to SaaS delivery, professional services pricing, operating models and organisational capability: a full modernisation exercise.

After 27 years, I joined Tribal Group, the UK's market leading provider of Student Management Systems, as a member of the executive team reporting to the CEO. As Global Head of Professional Services, I led the carve-out and modernisation of the Professional Services organisation, transforming its processes, commercial discipline, talent and culture. Alongside this, I took responsibility for turning around 2 product divisions, developing new product and commercial strategies, rebuilding teams and driving sales and P&L performance.

In 2025, I left Tribal to focus on advisory, interim and fractional executive roles, helping growing businesses address strategic, commercial and organisational challenges.
